Madiline uses artificial intelligence as a research and co-writing tool. AI assists with drafting, research, summarisation, and editorial development. All published content is reviewed, edited, and approved by a human editor before publication. Editorial judgment, factual verification, and publishing decisions remain human responsibilities at every stage.

Terms of Service
Who we are
Madiline is an independent editorial platform publishing real estate intelligence, fine art intelligence, and related analysis. We are operated by Madiline, based in British Columbia, Canada.
Using Madiline
By accessing madiline.com you agree to these terms. You may read, share, and reference our content for personal and non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute our content without written permission.
Membership
Some content requires a free or paid membership. By creating an account you agree to provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Subscriptions, cancellation, and refunds
Paid memberships can be cancelled at any time. On cancellation, access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time. The Madiline Annual digital publication is non-refundable once downloaded. Print editions that arrive damaged or are not delivered will be replaced at no charge. Contact us at hello@madiline.com within 14 days of the expected delivery date.
Contributors
Madiline publishes work from independent contributors. Contributors retain their own views and editorial voice. Their work does not necessarily represent the position of Madiline. Madiline reserves the right to edit, decline, or remove contributed content at its discretion.
Advertising
Madiline carries direct-sold advertising only. Advertisers have no influence over editorial content, publishing decisions, or contributor selection. We do not use programmatic advertising networks. We do not accept payment to influence editorial coverage.
Editorial disclaimer
Madiline publishes intelligence, analysis, and editorial content for informational purposes only. Nothing published on this platform constitutes financial, investment, legal, or real estate purchase advice. All information should be independently verified before acting on it. Consult qualified professionals for decisions relating to property acquisition, investment, or legal matters.
Intellectual property
All content, design, and assets on madiline.com are the property of Madiline unless otherwise credited. Unauthorised use is prohibited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Where applicable, we comply with relevant international regulations including GDPR for European readers and PIPEDA for Canadian residents.
Changes to these terms
Continued use of the platform following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Privacy Policy
What we collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate the platform. When you create a membership or subscribe to our newsletter we collect your name and email address. We collect standard server logs including IP address and browser type for security purposes. If you purchase a product we collect only the information required to process that transaction. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches Madiline systems.
Behavioral data collection
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) via Google Tag Manager to collect behavioral data about how readers engage with content on madiline.com. This includes scroll depth, pages visited, content categories read, geographic origin, and return visit patterns. This data is collected anonymously, is not linked to individual identities, and is used solely to understand editorial performance and reader demand patterns. It is stored in Google infrastructure and governed by Google's data processing terms. We also use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool that collects aggregate traffic data without cookies and without storing personal identifiers.
How we use it
We use your information to deliver the newsletter, manage your membership, process purchases, and occasionally communicate platform updates. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Ever.
Data storage
Member data is stored securely via Ghost. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe. Neither service is operated by Madiline and each operates under its own security standards. We do not store payment data on Madiline systems.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting hello@madiline.com. European residents have additional rights under GDPR. Canadian residents have rights under PIPEDA. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.
Third party services
Madiline uses Ghost for publishing and membership management, Stripe for payment processing, Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager for behavioral analytics, and Plausible Analytics for privacy-safe aggregate traffic measurement.
